Chart Bar Alert for Provider & Patient Chart Types
There is a new feature to alert if a chart is a Patient chart type and a Provider chart type. We advise customers to keep P (provider) charts and patient/employee charts separate and not to set both chart types on a chart, nor ever merge them.
Clinicians should have a provider (P) chart as well as their separate regular employee/patient chart. The Provider chart is what is used on encounters to set the performing provider/location on the encounter and keep other information about the Provider on a Provider level, but their employee/patient chart is what is used if they have to be seen or treated for medical care any reason, medical history information, etc. Note: Enterprise Health does NOT recommend merging a Provider partitioned chart with a medical partitioned employee/patient chart. These need to remain separate.
This is a new alert feature available in the March 2022 upgrade version and newer
How do I learn more?
