Parent Provider Organization Location Hierarchy Search on 3 Reports
There is a new feature to be able to search for encounters, appointments, and checkin by the Parent PO chart level.
A use case: This was needed for a couple of large clients who are nationwide. The customer had to keep running these reports individually by specific locations to combine them into one report on a division level, region level, etc.
Some large companies are split into regions or divisions, which have specific health clinics under them, and this provides reporting on that ‘region/division’ type of level (using a Parent PO chart with individual locations tied to them), where the admins can type in ONE location (the parent PO) and see everything that falls under that parent PO, and not have to individually key in 19-30 individual locations for that region/division, etc… This feature allows for graphing or grouping on that hierarchy level.
These 3 out-of-the-box reports were updated with this logic because they are the most commonly used:
- Checkin-DV
- Encounter Search-Custom DV
- Appointment Report-DV
This is a new feature available in the March 2022 upgrade version and newer where Parent PO Location charts can be utilized to search using the ‘locations’ filter in 3 out-of-the-box reports.
